MEET THE SPRING COACHES
COACH
JIM SOCCI
Jim, a former college football player, will be the Head Coach of our U6 squad--the team on which his son, Jake, plays. AFC is excited to have Jim back for his fourth season as he brings a great deal of football knowledge and passion with him!

JAMES BROUSE
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach James is one of the coaches for our U8 team. His son, Logan, is on the team. This is James' second season as a coach with AFC. A huge Nascar fan, we know Coach James is going to take his players for a great ride this season!

WAYNE WHITAKER
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Wayne is one of the coaches for our U6 team. His son, Jeremiah, is on the team. This is Wayne's fourth season with us. A former college player as well as a former high school coach at Liberty and Dieruff, we are glad to have Wayne with us!

JOSH BARNHART
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Josh will be one of the coaches with our U8 team. His son, Branson is on this team. With FOUR kids playing this season, Coach Josh will be one busy man. We are glad to have him with us for his second season.

BOB SAGULA
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Bob is the Head Coach for our U11 WHITE team. Bob joined AFC for the Fall 2014 season. He comes to AFC with a variety of gifts, talents, and coaching experience. He is a great planner/organizer and always does a fantastic job!

ALECIA WEAVER
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Alecia is one of the coaches for our U11 GOLD team. A volleyball coach by trade, Alecia transitioned nicely to our football program last spring and helped set up that squad for great success!

DAVE CRESSMAN
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Dave is one of the coaches for one of our U11 WHITE team. His son, Hunter, is on this team. Dave began last season as a sideline assistant. For the Spring, we are glad that Dave stepped up into an even bigger role. We are fortunate to have him with us season!

BEN WISE
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Ben is one of the coaches for our U11 GOLD team. His sons, Isaiah and Zechariah, are on this team. Ben has help coached with AFC before, and after a short hiatus, we are very glad to have him with again. With four boys in the program, he has much invested!

JASON MARCANTE
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Jason is the Head Coach of our U11 GOLD team. He is one of the founding members of AFC flag football. Born with football in his blood (his father was a coach for the Parkland High School football team for more than two decades), Jason teaches the basics of football as well as anyone.

FRAN MAYVILLE
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Fran is the Head Coach of our U14 GOLD team. His son, Robbie, plays on the team. He joined AFC in the Spring of 2015. This Desales Chemistry professor knows how to find the right ingredients to create a great mixture for success! We look forward to awesome things this season!

MARK MUSSER
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Mark is the Head Coach of the U14 WHITE team. Mark has been with AFC since the fall of 2010. He is the AFC Flag Football Director and one of the coordinators for our LMYA/SPYA/AFC league. He further handles most of the administrative duties.

PATRICK DULANEY
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Patrick is one of the coaches for our U14 GOLD team. His son, Logan, is on this team. AFC is glad to have Patrick joining us for the first time. He has been active in coaching in other community leagues, so we are excited to have that experience with US this season!

DAVE SAMPSELL
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Dave is the Head Coach of our U17 WHITE team. His son, John, is on the team. Coach Dave has been with AFC since the fall of 2011. Having played both high school and college football, Dave brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience with him to AFC.

KEN GEORGE
For the Spring 2017 season, Coach Ken is the Head Coach of our U17 GOLD team. His son, Sam, plays on the team. He joined AFC in the Spring of 2014. With much previous coaching experience, this Air Products employee plans on breathing much life into his players this season.
